Degree or Diploma in logistics, operations management or an engineering dsicipline.
Managerial experience with a large project within the middle east.
Experience with heavy and over dimensional load movements.

- Lead , manage abd guide the team to ensure the overall logistics success of the project.
- Guide and assist the EPC2 contractors in optimizing their transportation of all modules, materials and personnel to the islands ensuring best practices are used to minimize the financial impact on the company whilst maintaining the highest safety standards.
- Assist the contractor in developing detailed logistics execution plans ensuring optimum harbour usage and project schedule is maintained. Ensure that the correct impact of offshore logistical demands are included in productivity calculations.
- Ensures that module transportation requirements are included into the design and all planning for module transportation commences during the engineering phase.
- Regular auditing of EPC2 contractors logistics procedures and management systems to ensure compliance with company requirements and project schedules.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relation with EPC2 contractors.
- Assist the contractor in developing a comprehensive understanding of all company and other regulatory requirements relating to mobilizing to an offshore field within the UAE
- Monitor EPC contractors logistics operation and set achievable targets for continuous improvement.
